Our Story

For as long as we can remember, we’ve loved machines that moved. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, go-karts, it didn’t matter, if it had wheels and a motor, we loved it. We drew cars, played them, and dreamed of driving them – a lot. To us they are powerful, magic, more than just a means to get from A to B, but a connection to independence, growth, and endless adventures. Even when we were little, we could tell you the year, make, and model with a glimpse of a fender, grill, or taillight as it passed by. Automotives have always been a big part our family. As little ones, we fetched wrenches for our parents. When we grew up, we worked on them together, always adding to our toolboxes and our knowledge. It’s been that way since we started Trail Tire in 1972.

In 2014, after generations of running a tire wholesale business, we pursued our passion a bit further down the road and opened two full-service auto centers in Edmonton. Today, over 50 Trail Tire Auto Centers are open across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Each one is managed and staffed by folks who share our family’s passion and values. We always make sure our customers have the answers, advice, and support they need to make their way safely down the road every day. And we’ll always treat them like family, never promising more than we can deliver – and always giving them more than they expect
